My love for the moving image probably came genetically from my cinephile father. This led me to pursue cinematography at Vassar College. For nearly 15 years I have been able to develop extensive technical knowledge working in a wide range of aesthetic disciplines including fashion, commercial, documentary, branded, narrative and music video, and I take pride in being a true collaborator, crafting a specific and individual look for each project.
As DP, I’ve had the privilege to lens the camera for some of the most notable personalities and brands including Nina Agdal, Miguel, Gigi Hadid, Imaam Hammam, Mick Jagger, Michael Kors, IBM, Toyota, Vogue, Chevy, Kate Spade and more. This work has taken me to 6 continents on projects big and small.
I’ve had the honor of working on notable documentaries including camera operating on the 2014 Oscar winning 20 Feet from Stardom, and being the DP on Bookers Place: a Mississippi Story which screened at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival and received rave reviews from the New York Times and Variety.
I was raised in NYC and now live in Brooklyn with my lovely wife and two daughters. When I’m not on a shoot, I can be found tinkering with my cameras and bicycles, running and kayaking.
